Heads up if you plan to pass by the Commonwealth Avenue zipper lane this weekend. The zipper lane, which aims to ease traffic in the northern portion of Quezon City, will be temporarily closed from April 9 to April 10, authorities said.
Prior to the closure, the zipper lanes were open from 5:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. to decongest the area during rush hours.

The zipper lane will reopen on Monday, April 12 from 6 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The advisory did not specify whether or not it will be open by Sunday.
