(SPOT.ph) The RC Cola universe dropped another crazy commercial on innocent bystanders on June 17. Don't worry, there's no bottle humanoids this time—just dentures with big fuccboi energy. Oh yes, you read that right. A playboy pustiso named Paquito is at the center of this edition of RC Cola wackiness.

The commercial reached 11,000 shares on Facebook a mere few hours it was posted. The main question folks online have, aside from a general WTF mood, is all about this one pivotal kiss the pustiso shares with his new fianceé. Okay, before we spoil everything, check it out below. We're sure you'll understand why that little detail has everyone freaking out.

Time to Put the RC Cola Paquito Ad on the List of Craziest Filipino Commercials

Clearly, Paquito doesn't have a heart. Literally and figuratively speaking. But erm, it sure looks like he has mad kissing skills. We know you have questions so we had a quick chat with GIGIL, the creative ad agency behind the RC Cola universe, about what the heck just happened.

"Basta" is once again the core of the latest RC Cola commercial, shares Dionie Tanada, GIGIL associate creative director in an online exchange. There's no deep reason behind their campaign for the old, trusted brand—just the central goal to connect with the Gen Z, something they definitely achieved with the first RC Cola ad they dropped in November 2020. Now, they used that same concept to introduce a new product.

As for Paquito, it looks like they brought the casanova dentures to life with a pretty cool mix of practical and computer effects.

And that kissing scene? Well, we give credit to the talent who played Sharon. "Kami rin nagulat sa kissing scene," shares Tanada. "Nung nasa story board pa lang, alam namin na it will be hilarious AF pero iba pa rin pag nag-re-review ka na ng takes seeing the real thing."

Plus, it turns out they even "did different 'levels' of kissing, to be safe," explains Tanada, meaning that there were several different takes to get that bit right. Well, if getting that visual seared into our brains was their goal, then it was definitely the right take to use.
