(SPOT.ph) It's another long weekend, which means you can finally carve out some me time. If you're a PlayStation gamer, you'd be happy to know that there's another set of games for free for the whole month of April. Interestingly, the PlayStation Plus lineup this month is zombie-themed—with two of the three free titles all about taking down rotten flesh to survive They're ideal to play either before or after going through this list of apocalyptic movies, because at least being player one gives you some semblance of control.

Gamers, here are the free PlayStation games you can download this April:
Days Gone (PlayStation 4)
[youtube:{"videoId":"null","youtubeId":"bGej8K1r8KI", "caption":""}]
Days Gone is an open-world game about Deacon St. John, an army veteran, and a bounty hunter. He must explore America’s Pacific Northwest in his journey to find his missing wife while surviving hordes of mindless feral Freakers (read: zombies) and swarms of terrifying humans such as lunatic cults and desperate bandits. Also, beware of the weather, player. Unpredictable weather can cause shocking surprises and immense danger in certain stages of the game, so you better be ready. You can loot items along the way to customize your weapons and create your own explosive traps. You even have skills that improve your melee combat, range combat, and survivability. Pro tip: Field Repairs, Focus Shot, and Just Roll With It are the skills that you need to learn in the early parts of the game.
Zombie War 4: Dead War (PlayStation 4)
[youtube:{"videoId":"null","youtubeId":"MYcie-c3ZWc", "caption":""}]
Hell has been unleased and hordes of Nazi undead are leading the charge. What are you going to do? Zombie War 4: Dead War is a multiplayer, shooting game that can accommodate up to four players. It is set in the 1940s where you can play solo or go co-op with the squad as you barricade through hordes of Nazi zombies using upgradeable guns and traps such as grenades, electric tripwires, and landmines. Your main mission is to win the war and unravel the evil concerning the Survivor Brigade across Italy, and here’s a teaser: the final boss fight is a surprising one. Either you go Leeroy Jenkins on this game or set up a team that is complete with snipers, assault gunners, and bombers. Those demonic monsters (A.K.A. mini bosses) are not gonna go down that easy.
Oddworld: Soulstorm (PlayStation 5)
[youtube:{"videoId":"null","youtubeId":"23fDmggOajM", "caption":""}]
Soulstorm is a sequel to the 2014 game Oddworld: New ‘N’ Tasty. In this action-adventure platform game, Abe returns and must act as a hero and beacon of hope for other Mudokons. You will save-slash-recruit Mudokon followers as you progress through the game—and there are more than 1,000 of them—the more followers you have, the easier it will be for you to solve puzzles and finish certain stages. Abe now can loot items from surroundings, too. You can use these items to craft weapons for you or for your followers. PS5’s DualSense haptic feedback also lets you feel the rise of Abe’s heartbeat during intense and suspenseful situations. Cool, right? Do note that this free download is only applicable to the PS5 version of Oddworld: Soulstorm.
