Your Guide to Bank Operating Hours During the GCQ Bubble

Several banks in areas covered by the GCQ Bubble have shortened operating hours to align with the government's directive to restrict travel to just the essentials. If you find yourself absolutely needing to drop by the bank, check out the adjusted hours below.

These are the banks that have announced changes in their operating hours in light of the GCQ bubble:

BDO Unibank

BDO said all of its branches would be open to serve customers up to 3 p.m. from March 23 to 31. Online and ATM transactions are encouraged.

Metrobank

Some Metrobank branches are closed from March 23 to 31. You can view the full list of branches on its website.

For Metrobank branches that will remain open, shortened banking hours will be observed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Clearing time for all check deposits done over-the-counter is moved to 2 p.m. from 3 p.m. 

Clients are encouraged to do mobile banking or transact using ATM machines if possible.

Robinsons Bank

Robinsons Bank has shortened banking hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from March 23 to April 4. For their mall-based branches, banking hours will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Security Bank

Security Bank's branches in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Laguna, Rizal, and Cavite observe shortened banking hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., starting from March 23 to 31.

PSBank

PSBank has shortened banking hours for branches in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. from March 22. Clearing cut-off for checks will be at 3 p.m.

United Coconut Planters Bank

United Coconut Planters Bank's branches in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal would operate from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for two weeks starting March 22.

"Some provincial branches in North and Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will also have shortened banking hours in compliance with local government directives," it said in an advisory. 

UCPB clients are encouraged to check the list of branches and their operating schedules through its website.
