(SPOT.ph) It's a sad reality that a number of injustices plague the Filipino nation today, from our local farmers not being able to uphold their rights to artists and activists being red-tagged under the current regime. One of the organizations bringing light to these issues is Sama-Samang Artista para sa Kilusang Agraryo—and if you'd like to stand in solidarity with them and happen to love good eats, we've got good news. They're currently taking orders for their Langkatsu—yes, that's langka katsu—until 4 p.m. on March 24, for pickup or delivery on March 25 and 26!

Sama-samang Artista para sa Kilusang Agraryo (SAKA)'s Langkatsu is made with unripe jackfruit, which takes on a meaty, fibrous texture when cooked. The jackfruit is breaded and fried to a crisp, then served with turmeric rice and a zingy, piquant side salad that brings each bite to new heights. Plus, it's meatless and vegan, and free of eggs and dairy. Each serving goes for P150—and every order helps support the organization.

Each serving has crisp-on-the-outside, tender-on-the-outside langka katsu, plus turmeric rice and a side salad.
