(SPOT.ph) When you're feeling nostalgic for the elegance of the days gone by, a visit to Palacio de Memoria is a must. Its mysterious origins notwithstanding, the restored pre-war mansion features embodies old-world sophistication by way of its dazzling interiors, where you'll find furniture and art pieces from both the Eastern and Western worlds. Soon, it will also serve as the home to The Loggia—an al-fresco dining spot with food by no less than 2016 Asia’s Best Female Chef Margarita Fores.

A loggia refers to an architectural feature where you have a covered and open-walled room, corridor, or hallway that's supported by columns—this allows air to circulate through and lets sunlight in. We've yet to see whether the restaurant will have these design elements or not, and in case you want to check it out for yourself, they'll be open to the public starting March 9, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and will be serving brunch on weekends.
