(SPOT.ph) Despite primarily being a sporting-goods store Decathlon is a favorite destination not just among fitness junkies, but even for, er, not-exactly-fit individuals thanks to their wide range of finds and their budget-friendly prices—put those two elements together and you've got a place that makes for a hella fun shopping spree. Not to mention, their huge store spaces make for a great few hours of exploring through activewear, outdoor essentials, exercise equipment, and more.

If you're one of the many folks across the Metro who love visiting the store, you may find yourself hoarding a ton of their products at home. Well, it's a good time to be a hoarder because here's how you can use those belongings to shop even more of their finds for less: Decathlon Philippines just introduced a new program in time for the holidays known as Decathlon Buy Back. They're letting you trade old Decathlon items in exchange for gift certificates you can use in-store. It’s the brand’s way of encouraging sustainable shopping and intentional purchasing habits!

How to Trade in Old Purchases From Decathlon Philippines for Gift Certificates:

To sell your equipment back to Decathlon, all you have to do is follow a few simple steps. First, take at least two photos of the product you’d like to return and fill up the BuyBack form—take note that you can only trade items with original selling prices of at least P1,500. From there, Decathlon will evaluate the possibility of buying back the chosen product and send you an estimate of its redemption value. Once you receive the estimate, you can bring the product to any of Decathlon’s stores and a technician will give you the final price. If you’re good with the price, you'll receive Decathlon gift certificates corresponding to the value you agreed on. You can use the gift certificate to buy even more cool Decathlon finds! The items you return will be repaired, cleaned, and resold in the store.

Decathlon has stores at Tiendesitas in Pasig City, Festival Mall in Alabang, and Masinag in Antipolo. They're also opening two new stores this 2021.
