(SPOT.ph) Are you currently waiting on your orders from the 2021 Big Bad Wolf Book Sale? Well, you may want to prep even more space on your bookshelf because the Manila International Book Fair is happening really soon. How soon? From September 30 to October 4! Details are pretty scarce as of writing; Aside from the dates, the official announcement only had their website which most likely means the event will happen online.

The Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) is known for bringing local authors and publishers together in a massive event that was usually held at a convention center. While a physical book fair is definitely not the way to go right now, we're just happy we get a chance to support the local book scene!
This massive annual book-budol event first went online in November 2020. There were around 60 exhibitors—publishers, retailers, organizations, et cetera—selling books through the site, as well as live-streams of talks with authors such as Gina Apostol, Ricky Lee, and more. No word yet on what to expect for the 2021 run so if you need us, we'll just be here clicking refresh on their site.
