(SPOT.ph) Any sneakerhead could tell you that the most famous shoe brands in the world each have their own fair share of classic sneaker silhouettes that have stood the test of time. For Adidas, it's OG pairs like the Stan Smith, the Continental 80, and the Superstar that remain pillars of the brand's overall aesthetic and style philosophy. While the classic iterations of these sneakers continue to be bestsellers and fan-favorites, they brand also updates these styles, giving them modern looks while still maintaining their old-school appeal. For 2021, The Three Stripes is taking one of their OGs to the next level: They teamed up with LEGO to create the totally buildable Adidas Originals Superstar Shoe Model. Yes, it's made entirely out of blocks that you can assemble yourself!
To be clear, this iteration of the Superstar is not meant to be worn. However, the LEGO model still has all the signature features of the Superstar including the thick stripes on the outer side, the color accent on the heel, the shell-shaped toecap, the Trefoil logo on the tongue, and the lace-up design. It even comes in the Superstar’s classic black-and-white colorway. Both sneakerheads and loyal LEGO fans would love assembling it and seeing all 731 pieces come together until they form the whole shoe. Display it in your home as an homage to a sportswear favorite!

Just in case you'd rather have a sneaker you can actually wear, LEGO and Adidas also teamed up to create a new iteration of the Superstar, with design details inspired by the world-famous blocks. The Adidas Superstar x LEGO Shoes also sport the sneaker's classic colorway, but take a closer look and you'll see that the outer stripes, toecap, and heel accent are decked out in a texture modeled after LEGO blocks.
