(SPOT.ph) Metro Manila and the nearby provinces of Laguna, Rizal, Cavite, and Bulacan—collectively called NCR Plus Bubble as of recent—continues to be on general community quarantine "with heightened restrictions" status until June 15. Some of the restrictions include prohibition of indoor entertainment and recreational venues to reopen, dine-in capacity of 30%, and 30% to 50% venue capacity for religious gatherings.
The Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases also announced that they're allowing leisure travel from NCR Plus to areas under modified general community quarantine (and vice versa). Only travelers below 18 and above 65 years old are required to take an RT-PCR test before departure. The task force also emphasized that travel shall be limited to point-to-point, which means you can't take sidetrips to other tourism destinations.
The rest of the Philippines is already under modified general community quarantine, except for these provinces:

- Zamboanga City
- Zamboanga Sibugay
- Zamboanga del Sur
- Zamboanga del Norte

"On behalf of the DOT, I thank our colleagues in the IATF for this development. Allowing leisure travel for all ages from the NCR Plus Bubble to MGCQ Areas will surely help local tourism back on track towards recovery," said Tourism Secretary Berna Romulo-Puyat in a statement.
Interzonal travel regulations are subject to the decision of the local government unit concerned. For Boracay, guidelines are those imposed by the Boracay Inter-Agency Task Force.
