(SPOT.ph) We're one year into the pandemic, and yet there's still no certainty as to what the future of leisure travel holds. But one thing's for sure: We will travel again. To get us more excited for this possibility without the commitment, budget airline Cebu Pacific launches their newest product: CEB Super Pass, which is available starting today, May 5, at 10 a.m.

The CEB Super Pass is a first-of-its kind travel voucher that's as good as a plane ticket minus the fixed date and destination. It's available for only P99 (one-way base fare) from May 5 to 12 as part of Cebu Pacific's 25th anniversary celebration. You can buy up to 10 CEB Super Passes per transaction, and pay using your existing travel funds or other online payment options.

The CEB Super Pass can be redeemed until May 31, 2022 for flights to and from 36 domestic destinations, as long as its within their seven to 30 days window period. Redeemed flights are rebookable, but non-transferable and non-refundable. When purchasing a CEB Super Pass, you only need to pay the one-way base fare plus Web Admin Fee; while terminal fee and taxes are to be paid for when you redeem your flight.

In case that sounds confusing, here's a scenario for you: You want to travel very soon, but you don't know where and you don't know when. You log on to Cebu Pacific's website just in time for a big sale to lock in discounted prices. You purchase four CEB Super Passes, which is equal to two roundtrip tickets for you and your partner.

By May 15, 2022, you're finally vaccinated, borders have reopened, and you're ready to travel. So you redeem your CEB Super Passes and plug in your route (ex. Manila to Boracay) and your departure date (ex. May 21, 2022—since there's a minimum of seven days before your desired flight). But let's say you suddenly get sick (knocks on wood). The good news is you can rebook your flight to until the following year if you like. Cebu Pacific has permanently waived rebooking fees, so you only have to pay the fare difference. And yes, you can rebook your rebooked flight again and again just in case.
