(SPOT.ph) You can't have a meal at Cibo without an order or two of their winning Spinaci Zola, a.k.a. Spinach Dip. This famous appetizer has become the gateway to most of us getting our much-needed dose of greens, with its winning combination of spinach and gorgonzola—no wonder it's one of their bestsellers! While the O.G. dip comes with crisp and light crostini, Cibo's also experimented with other spinoff spinach-dip dishes like pizza and lasagna—and now, you can add "sandwich" to the list. Yup, Cibo now makes the Panino Spinaci Zola—and it's only available for a limited time.
With Cibo's spinach dip, mozzarella, and butter on rustic bread, the Panino Spinaci Zola (starts at P385) makes for a great light lunch or snack that'll fuel you through the afternoon ahead. It's a great way to get the earthy, cheesy, slightly-pungent flavors of the spinach dip in a different way. You could, of course, add an order of their O.G. Spinaci Zola (starts at P365) and spread more on top of the grilled sandwich if you'd like to really take things up a notch.
The Panino Spinaci Zola is part of Cibo's Mamma Mia or mother's month specials, which also includes two new and limited-edition pasta dishes. The Spaghettini alla Puttanesca (starts at P405) gives you a tangy, brined profile with stewed tomatoes, black olives, and capers, while the Spaghettini Acchiughe e Burro combines anchovies, butter, and cream for a rich-meets-umami character. You can order for delivery by visiting Cibo's website, or calling 8891-1111.
Cibo is a homegrown restaurant serving Italian fare that was established in 1997, with 2016 Asia's Best Female Chef Margarita Fores at the helm.
