Chill Out: Milky Way Café Now Has Halo-Halo Kits

(SPOT.ph) If there's anything to look forward to during the summer months, it's downing glass after icy glass of good ol' halo-halo. With its eye-catching mix of different colors and tastebud-tickling blend of different flavors and textures, it's no wonder that it's loved by Filipinos to this day! Nobody does halo-halo quite like Milky Way Café—it's been a fan favorite since 1962, and even topped our 2017 Top 10 Halo-Halo in Manila list for its perfect proportions of ingredients and creamy-as-can-be homemade ice cream.

There's nothing like making your way to Milky Way's Arnaiz Avenue outpost in Makati or their Rockwell deli to get your fix—but if you'd rather stay home these days, we've got good news: Milky Way now sells Halo Halo Kits, so you can order it for pickup or delivery and DIY it at home!

You can choose from Halo Halo Kit A (P1,990), which comes with a half-gallon of Milky Way's Ube Ice Cream; or Halo Halo Kit B (P1,395), which doesn't come with ice cream; both are good for six and include other halo-halo ingredients like red and green gulaman, sweet white and red beans, macapuno, red kaong, saba, ube, and leche flan in a reusable insulated bag, plus six cups and six sets of spoons and napkins.

Each kit has the ingredients to make their famous halo-halo, utensils, and a thermo bag to keep everything cool.

To assemble the halo-halo, just layer the ingredients together (see Milky Way's recommended order here), then add crushed ice, evaporated milk, and ice cream if applicable. Watch them work their magic here:
