(SPOT.ph) With Boracay Island now open to travelers, local hotels and resorts are excited to welcome back guests that they've missed during all those months of temporary closure. Options range from hassle-free travel packages at luxurious resorts to three-day stays at affordable accomodations. If you're looking for a weekend escape that's not hard on the pocket, Residencia Boracay is holding a month-long sale until March 31.
Three-day stays with daily breakfast start at P5,000; if you're looking to spend up to six days, you can avail of their special rate at P10,000. You can even extend your stay for a whole month for only P30,000. The beachfront getaway is known for their “Paluto sa Residencia," where you can request your food of choice from the in-house chef. So just in case you need to work-from-beach, you don't have to worry about your meals.
Boracay Island is implementing the Test Before Travel regulation, which requires travelers to take an RT-PCR swab test from 48 to 72 hours prior to traveling to Boracay. You should, of course, test negative for the COVID-19 virus. You're also asked to fill out an online health declaration form through Aklan’s website and show confirmed booking at an accredited hotel or resort upon arrival at the Godofredo P. Ramos Airport in Caticlan.
Residencia Boracay is at Station 1, White Beach, Malay, Aklan. Sale runs until March 31. For more information, visit Residencia Boracay's website.
