Milk Tea Gets a Boozy Twist in These Spiked Drinks

(SPOT.ph) Milk tea is one of those drinks you can turn to anytime—whether because it's hot out, you're looking for a quick energy boost, or you just need a pick-me-up in the middle of a dreadful weekday. While a good ol' cup of milk tea always does the trick, there are times when we find ourselves looking for an extra (like, extra) boost—y'know, the kind that you can't just get from sugar or caffeine. By that, we mean the kind that you can only get from alcohol! Zozzle Tea in Cebu offers exactly that: milk tea given a tipsy twist with different liquors to get you in an extra-happy mood.

Innocent as it may look, this milk tea is spiked with booze.

Zozzle Tea deems their alcohol-infused milk tea line their Giggle Milk Tea, and it's available in different variants. There's the Caribbean (P80/12 ounces, P110/16 ounces) spiked with rum, and the Ilsa's Truth (P85/12 ounces, P115/16 ounces) a.k.a. wintermelon milk tea given a welcome kick of gin. Feeling daring? They've also got the Whiskey Cola-infused Churchill (P85/12 ounces, P115/16 ounces) and the beer (yes, beer!)-infused Cervecha (P80/12 ounces, P110/16 ounces). On the more decadent end of the spectrum are the Jack's Dilemma (P85/12 ounces, P115/16 ounces) with rum-infused chocolate, and teh Maui's Secret (P85/12 ounces, P115/16 ounces)  with rum-infused coconut.

Zozzle Tea also has a line of tea-based alcohol-infused cocktails called the Teatails. This comes in variants like the Bloody Cebuana (P100/12 ounces, P130/16 ounces) with vodka and grenadine, Midnight Blues (P100/12 ounces, P130/16 ounces) with tequila and blue curacao, and Jamaican Nights (P115/12 ounces, P145/16 ounces) with vodka and mint leaves.
