The City of Manila has opened online pre-registration for COVID-19 vaccines to their residents, as they await regulator approval of the jabs.

According to the Manila CoVac website, there will be two doses administered four weeks apart. Individuals who eventually get the jab must follow minimum health standards while giving the vaccine enough time to take full effect.

No part of the vaccine can cause COVID-19, the website said. However, individuals may experience fever and fatigue after the vaccination as these are symptoms of the body forming immunity.

All who sign up will be evaluated thoroughly. Women who are pregnant, have plans of getting pregnant, or are breastfeeding children must declare their condition to the Manila Health Department.
