(SPOT.ph) Hotels in Metro Manila are slowly but surely reopening their doors to guests who can't wait to go on a family getaway (even if it’s just within the city). The change of pace is definitely much-needed, especially after months of being cooped up at home, seeing the same people every single day, cooking your own meals, and being limited to walking only from your bedroom to the gate or lobby whenever a package arrives.
If you’re looking to book a staycation soon, there are already a total of 15 hotels approved by the Department of Tourism to accept leisure guests. Unfortunately, one of them (Makati Shangri-La) will temporarily close; while another (Hotel Okura Manila) is yet to officially launch. Just the same, there are still a number of places to stay where you can enjoy top-notch facilities including the all-important swimming pool.
