(SPOT.ph) Typhoon Ulysses devastated parts of Metro Manila, Calabarzon, and Central Luzon on the night of November 11 and throughout November 12, forcing Filipinos across the regions to evacuate their homes. It also left many houses and structures tremendously damaged. In response to the calamity, local brands and businesses in the private sector have stepped up to help out those in need. Malls, for example, offered temporary shelter to strandees and evacuees. Meanwile, metal manufacturing company Blue Horizon Metal Corporation is offering free roofs to Typhoon Ulysses victims whose homes were damaged by the storm.

If you or someone you know is in need of a new roof for a damaged home, all you have to do is send a message to Blue Horizon's Facebook page with your name, address, and pictures of the extent of the wreckage. According to follow-up comments on the above Facebook post, Blue Horizon Metal Corporation is prioritizing roof donations to low-cost housing in Metro Manila, Bulacan, and Rizal. They are also offering discounts to those affected by the storm in need of roof repairs. Note that the service is on a first-come-first-served basis and the company can only provide roofs until supplies last.
