Today’s Free Movie of the Day is the home invasion horror movie Evil at the Door, which was just released by Terror Films earlier this year. Written and directed by Kipp Tribble, Evil at the Door has the following short and simple synopsis:
One night every year the world sees an alarming surge in violent home invasions. This is no coincidence.
The film stars Andrea Sweeney Blanco, Richard Siegelman, Kenny Yates, Scott Hamm Duenas, Sunny Doench, Matt O’Neill, John James, Robert Feldsted Jr., Robert Allen Mukes from Rob Zombie’s House of 1000 Corpses, prolific character actor Bruce Davison (he has 279 credits as of this writing, but to me he’ll always be best remembered as the star of the original Willard), and writer/director Tribble.
Tribble made his feature directorial debut with the 1996 crime thriller Sugar Cain, and has followed that up with the horror mystery Coffin, its sequel Coffin 2, the thriller The Lost Day, and the horror movie Char Man. Evil at the Door was the sixth feature he has directed. He has also worked on the screenplays for the drama Running Springs, the horror movies The Stay and Confined, and the comedy UP, Michigan! As for his acting role in Evil at the Door, that’s just one of more than thirty acting credits he has earned over the years.
