(SPOT.ph) Alright, we'll dive right into it. Spider-Man: No Way Home dropped another banger of a trailer today, November 17, this time giving us all clear looks at the old villains. So: Multiverse? Confirmed. Old villains? Double confirmed. Tobey and Andrew? Still MIA. Yup, this trailer might have given us some answers but gave us some pretty big "maybes" at the same time. Sit down and check it out below:

Yup, we're entering the multiverse, folks. We saw Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina)—whom we spotted in the first trailer and whose name hilariously became a joke for Peter Parker (Tom Holland) in the new trailer—plus Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe) and Electro (Jamie Foxx) from the two previous Spidey movie worlds. Sandman and the Lizard joined in on the party, too. Plus, we had Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) trying to do some major damage control sans his foxy cup

With everything this new trailer dropped though, the multiverse bit had everyone asking: So this basically means Andrew Garfield and the OG Tobey Maguire will show up in the movie too, right? Twitter was immediately sent into chaos after the trailer dropped.

Now there has never been any confirmation that the two other Spideys will be in the upcoming movie—but the latest trailer has definitely fueled our hopes and dreams. Garfield, whom we're sure to see next in Lin-Manuel Miranda's tick, tick ...BOOM! on Netflix, has been flat out denying any participation in the movie while Maguire has kept things very low-key.

Obviously, nothing's going to stop Twitter from wreaking havoc. With the movie dropping in U.S. theaters on December 17—January 08, 2022 for Philippine cinemas—there's a huge chance we really won't know for sure until then. But hey, at least we can always check out what Twitter is saying:
