(SPOT.ph) We tasted our way through multiple ensaymada brands to come up with our Top 10 Ensaymadas in Manila list in 2019—and our winner turned out to be no other than the famous version by Mary Grace Café. It captured our stomachs with its pillowy-soft consistency, full-on buttery profile, and generous amount of finely grated Edam cheese that melts in the mouth! But just when you thought it couldn't get any better, the homegrown bakeshop takes their signature pastry to a whole 'nother level as they introduce two new variations that'll totally make you swoon—and will only be available for a limited time.

These limited-edition Mary Grace ensaymada flavors have our heart:
The Ensaymada with Manchego And Truffle Honey (P820/box of four) gives you a Spanish-style bite, with Manchego cheese—the Spanish cheese known for its creamy-grassy profile with just the right amount of sharpness—in place of the usual Edam. Spanish cheese and jamon, of course, are a natural pair—and you can try the tandem together in the Ensaymada with Jamon & Chorizo (P1,080/box of four). It also has grated Manchego cheese, then amps up the richness and savoriness even more with the addition of Jamon Serrano Gran Reserva and Chorizo Iberico de Bellota on top. Both flavors are served with truffle honey on the side, which you can drizzle over for a sweet-floral contrast that concludes with the earthiness of truffle! All together now: *chef's kiss*
If you're drooling as much as we are, you'll be happy to know that you can preorder these rolls from Mary Grace's website—and if you do so on or before November 7, you can avail of their special early-bird discount of 10% off. You only have until December 15 to place your orders; delivery will be between November 5 to December 30.
