Here in the Philippines, it's a staple along with quezo de bola for Noche Buena, tempting with its meaty bite and rich, savory taste. For the most part, holiday hams here go by either the smokier style generally characteristic of the West, or the salty-sweet Chinese style; but how about changing it up this year for a modern-Italian style version by no less than 2016 Asia’s Best Female Chef Margarita Fores? Here's where you can get just that: Cibo will be coming out with their own Holiday Ham very soon!

Cibo's Holiday Ham goes the more sophisticated direction flavor-wise, with zestiness from an orange glaze melding with warmth from cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. It has a real meaty bite that manages to shine through, evoking a festive feel thanks to the citrus and spices! You can bet it'll be the star at your holiday table. The Holiday Ham will be available from November 15—keep your eye on Cibo's social media pages—at selected branches of Robinsons Supermarket, The Marketplace, and Shopwise. Prices have yet to be announced. Note, too, that supplies will be limited to just 20,000 pieces—don't miss it!
Cibo is a homegrown restaurant serving Italian fare that was established in 1997, with Chef Margarita Fores at the helm. They're also known for their pasta, pizza, and other Italian bites made with great-quality ingredients.
