(SPOT.ph) Japanese cuisine is the kind where there's something for just about everyone and every kind of hankering—whether it's the light-and-crisp bite of tempura, the warm and hearty slurp of ramen, the smokiness of yakitori, or the umami character of a good rice bowl. You probably have your go-to spots for every category, but there are times when the siren call of each dish gets way too strong and you can't just pick one place to visit. Well, now you can save yourself the decision fatigue, because one new food hall brings together different Japanese stalls—each with their own specialties—under one roof. Check out Kiwami Food Hall, which is now open in Bonifacio High Street!
This new food hall's all about great Japanese food:
Kiwami Food Hall is basically your one-stop shop for A+ Japanese eats as they house four concepts. Two of these, you likely already know and love—there's Yabu for katsu—our favorite in Manila, no less—and Ippudo for Hakata-style ramen, which is another one of our favorites.
But they've also got two newcomers worth checking out: Hachibei for yakitori, and Hannosuke for real-deal tempura tendon. There's even a stall for Hokkaido soft-serve ice cream, in case you're looking to end your meal on a sweet note!
The food hall is brought to us by The Standard Group, a.k.a. the group behind Yabu and that brought Ippudo to our shores! Consider trooping to their space with friends (and practicing safety measures, of course) the next time the need for all things umami hits.
Kiwami Food Hall is at L/GF C3 Bonifacio High Street Central, Bonifacio Global City. For more information, check out Kiwami Japanese Food Hall's Facebook page.
