To help manage cabin fever amid the panini, folks here at home and across the world have tried all kinds of new hobbies. Some acquired new cooking skills, others went down the K-Pop or K-Drama rabbit hole, and many have started on a fitness journey through outdoor activities like cycling, which has been a pretty big trend among city dwellers this past year.
Not only does the biking culture in the pandemic fulfill the need to be active, it also satisfies the longing for a change of scenery as well as the desire to socialize and reconnect with friends. After or in between rides, cyclists get an opportunity to catch-up with buddies as well as a cup of coffee along the way. This is probably the reason why there are so many bike-friendly cafés popping up in cities and provinces.
If you have yet to traverse Rizal's biking trails and discover the numerous cafés around, we got you covered. Yummy.ph recently talked to several cyclists who frequently take their bikes to Rizal and asked the bikers for their café pitstop recommendations. Check them out below.
Hit up these bike-friendly cafés the next time you're riding through Rizal:
Ahon Coffee

Cafe Una
Cafe Una started as a roadside café along Kingsville Heights in Antipolo with nothing but a car to store the ingredients and equipment, and a stall with a tent overhead. Their offerings include sandwiches, salads, pasta, and breakfast plates.
