(SPOT.ph) Pet dogs are truly the winners of this pandemic. Their hoomans are home all day, their food (and treatos) intake are given much attention, and they're always successful in convincing you to go out for a walk. To make sure that you have more places to go to for a weekend date with your pets, Bonifacio Global City opened BGC Central Bark on October 6. The 600-square-meter off-leash dog park is located at Sundial Park in front of Seibu Tower.

Entrance for Taguig residents is free from October 6 to 12. If you wish to receive additional perks like free entrance even after the soft opening, exclusive invitations to park events, and discounts at PetMe BGC (an indoor dog park, doggy daycare, and pet hotel at Serendra Mall) and Presidential Paws (an online pet shop for dog accessories), you can sign up for a monthly pass for P599 or an annual pass for P6,999. Non-members can still come to the dog park through their day pass rates at P100.
There is no time limit for pets and hoomans as long as you stay within operating hours. Well-trained park rangers from PetMe BGC are also around to assist you and make sure that everyone's having fun. But, dogs must be supervised by their owners at all times.
Given that Alert Level 4 is declared in Metro Manila, BGC Central Bark is open only to Taguig residents for the time being. Operating hours is from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., but this can change depending on quarantine protocols. Don't forget to bring your dog's anti-rabies vaccination records and your own COVID-19 vaccination card!
