(SPOT.ph) Dessert shop Overdoughs makes a good number of sweet treats really well—from melt-in-the-mouth doughnuts to crinkles with creative flavors. But we especially love their chocolate chip cookies, which bring together a buttery, chewy dough with great-quality chocolate in huge chunks. Sadly, Overdoughs has recently announced that they're phasing these cookies out—both their palm-sized and mini versions. But not all is lost, as they've got new confections that any and all cookie monsters will go gaga for—and they're the kind that make a case for going tiny in size but ultra-mighty in flavor. These cookies are on the small side circumference-wise, being a little less than two inches in diameter—but they're also of the relatively fat sort, making for a satisfying bite that's lightly crisp on the outside but soft and gooey within! Each cookie weighs 30 grams, which is just the right size to sate that cookie craving but also leaves you room to go for seconds and thirds. You can take your pick between their two flavors: The Triple Chocolate Chonkies are their take on a basic chocolate chip, with a dough base made with French butter and peppered with a blend of three kinds of couverture chocolates that stay wonderfully melty. If you're more for chocolate-on-chocolate action, there's also the Salted Dark & Cream Chonkies, which has a chocolate dough base plus chunks of dark chocolate, cream cheese, and a gooey chocolate cream filling.
The OD Mini Chonky Cookies can be had in different serving sizes: Go for the pouch of four (P99) if you're noshing solo, or the cup of eight (P189) to have by your side while binge-watching Netflix. For sharing, you can also get a box of 22 (P469) or box of 30 (P599)! You can customize the flavors and how many of each flavor you get, too. Overdoughs is a homegrown pastry shop that was established in 2017. Though they initially sold just doughnuts, they’ve since become known for their cookies, fried cookie dough, and other treats.
