The Philippines has updated its COVID-19 travel classification list, which will take effect on September 19, authorities said, as the country struggles to slow the transmission of the highly contagious coronavirus Delta variant. The new classification, which replaced blanket travel bans, will be effective until September 30, said Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.

Here's how the new classification system works: Foreign travelers coming from Red List areas are prohibited entry to the Philippines. Meanwhile, those coming from Yellow List areas need to undergo a longer quarantine period than travelers coming from Green List countries.
Here are the new travel classifications per country as approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force on COVID-19 response:
