(SPOT.ph) Angel Locsin has always been someone whose actions made waves online—whether she's actively championing an issue or just being herself. Remember when pictures of her simply going about her business went viral in June 2020? The Internet named her a body positivity champion back then (combatting nasty comments about the weight gain) but it looks like she is now actively taking on the role! Locsin posted a set of pictures of herself on her IG as a self-love reminder and we are so here for it.

Angel Locsin Posts a Self-Love Reminder on Instagram:
In what is possibly the first time she's directly addressed body image on a personal social media account, Locsin posted what must be pics after a workout session. She captioned it with a very direct "Remember to love every inch of you," complete with a heart emoji. We're living for the sweet and proud smile she has on!
Locsin received a whole lot of hateful body-shaming comments online after pictures of her went around in 2020. She didn't directly answer the petty jabs over her weight gain and instead has been using her platform to talk about different national issues, from the ABS-CBN shutdown to community pantries and more. Locsin did discuss all the bashing that went on in a podcast interview in July, saying "Hindi ako nagsasalita kasi, parang ano ang sasabihin ko, iyon 'yong opinyon [nila] sa sarili ko?"
"Totoo naman, mataba naman talaga ako," she said, adding, "Pero di naman masusukat no'n kung sino ako."
With her latest IG post though, it's clear that the real-life Darna isn't letting the bashing get her down. Folks online were quick to add to the post's positive vibes too! People flooded the comments with fire emojis and other celebs like Bea Alonzo dropped compliments. Meanwhile, we'll leave you with Locsin's husband Neil Arce's cheeky comment.
