Bluewater Sumilon is the only resort on Sumilon island. It has a private beach, a freshwater lagoon, a restaurant, and a bar. And yes, it has a crystalline infinity pool—perhaps the only pool you’ll see with a tree in the middle of it, jutting out like a miniature island. On top of that, the resort presents a rich variety of activities to make your stay beyond what you can imagine, such as island trekking, kayaking, pedal boating, fishing, diving, snorkeling, glamping, and bushcrafting.

To get to the island, go to Bancogon, Oslob, where the boats bound for Sumilon are docked. For weekdays, the rate is P1,800 for two persons, and P1,200 per extra person). For weekends and holidays, it’s P1,800 per person with a 4 + 1 promo. Inclusions are round-trip boat rides, a set meal and drink (a lunch buffet during weekends and holidays), and access to the resort’s amenities.

Rancho Cancio in Balamban is a teeny bit far, maybe at least an hour’s ride away from the city, but it’s certainly worth it. It’s a privately owned rest house that is well-known for its sleek, minimalistic design and an expansive infinity pool where you can get an awesome 360-degree view of the mountains. Rancho Cancio is also an ideal place for family, teams, and friends as the whole place can be rented exclusively.

For day use, a minimum of 10 people are needed for a reservation. The rate is P8,600, with extra persons charged at P860 each. For overnight stays, 10 people are required for a single reservation, with bed rentals at P650 each. Rooms are non-aircon only.
