(SPOT.ph) Restaurants, gyms, malls, and other go-to places are already slowly reopening in the Metro. And there's no stopping people from going out of their homes, driving from one spot to the next, and finally stretching their legs. But at Robinsons Metro East in Pasig City, you don't have to go far if you want to do a lot of things for a day. Their newly opened East Deck has everything you need to keep fit, stay active, or just have some fun with families and friends without having to worry about being stuck in an indoor space. It is open to the public for free.
The one-stop outdoor lifestyle hub is located at the mall's sixth-floor roof deck, which used to be a sprawling 5,327.88 square meters of a parking area. Now, it's an expansive playground that features lots of activity areas.
East Deck has separate dedicated lanes for jogging and walking, a pet park with ramps and stairs for testing your dog's agility, and a special area with exercise routine posters for the fitness buffs. Robinsons Metro East partnered with Driftito Academy for Crazy Cart, where you can rent one of the go-karts for 15 minutes or even a whole hour.
There's also a mini off-road trail for scale remote-control vehicles. For those who want to learn how to ride a bike, National Bicycle Organization is offering two-hour classes in a safe area. And when you're done for the day, you can order some take-out at the mall's many food establishments and bring them to the roof deck where you can watch the sunset.
Robinsons Metro East is along Marcos Highway, Barangay Dela Paz, Pasig City. East Deck is open to the public for free.
