(SPOT.ph) You know you love it. The OG Gossip Girl was a fabulous mess that you probably addictively watched at one point in your life—and the reboot is finally headed your way. Best part? The HBO Max original will also be available to stream here in the Philippines through HBO Go. Yup, the new take on the Upper East Side kids drops on Thursday, July 8, premiering the same time as the U.S.

What is the Gossip Girl reboot about?
The reboot picks up nine years after the Gossip Girl blog went dark. We're back to meet a new generation of New York City private school kids who face up to a new type of social surveillance (Read: Gossip Girl, but this time armed with social media).
To emphasize the change in times, Gossip Girl won't just be some blog in this reboot, it'll be an "all-encompassing social media platform," says Cosmopolitan. The creators also teased a major twist—so major, they literally didn't say anything other than the fact there will be one. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Representation was a big factor of the reboot, the creators told Cosmopolitan. The final main cast includes Jordan Alexander, Eli Brown, Thomas Doherty, Tavi Gevinson, Emily Alyn Lind, Evan Mock, Zion Moreno, Whitney Peak and Savannah Lee Smith. All incredibly different but of course, a still ridiculously attractive bunch.
Best part? Kristen Bell is back on board as the narrator. Yup, we're definitely on board too. Mark your calendars!
