(SPOT.ph) It's hard to discount how good ambience can easily perk up your mood even on the gloomiest of days. You can—at least for a few hours—forget about your problems and just soak up the sights right in front of you! Add to that drool-worthy desserts, and you're definitely in for a good time. When in Cebu and looking for a place to chill out, you'll want to add Dolce Cafe to your itinerary.

With bright white walls and plenty of glass windows that give you a peek of their greenery-filled outdoor area, Dolce Cafe has an aesthetic and well-lit space that you won't be able to resist taking photos of. This is then accented with wooden tables and chairs, plants, and an Instagrammable grass wall that tells you to "Drink coffee, smell the flowers, [and] feel at home"! The café has an almost pristine feel to it, but still manages to convey a relaxed vibe overall.

It's well-lit inside, thanks to their numerous glass windows.

Dolce Cafe is one of those places that's both elegant but chill!

Dolce is best known for their cakes, which include the Toblerone Cake, Chocolate Malt Cake, and Matcha Mousse (prices upon request); pair these desserts with their caffeinated drinks like the Cappuccino (starts at P120/12 ounces) or Caramel coffee (starts at P130/12 ounces). But if you're looking to fill up, they've also got savory treats that range from the lighter Grilled House Chicken Salad (P245) and Tuna Melt sandwich (P165), to the big guns like the Pork Belly Buster (P240) and Big Breakfast (P230).
