(SPOT.ph) Zack Snyder is back to take us out of the real world and straight into another one also ravaged by a pandemic—this time, though, there is a zombie tiger. You've heard whispers of the zombie heist action flick landing on Netflix on May 21. If you can't wait to see it, then note that the entertainment company is dropping the first adrenaline-packed 15 minutes of the movie on May 14! And it looks like there's going to be some "digging" needed to unlock the content.

What good is 15 minutes of Army of the Dead?

Netflix has been dropping lots of little crumbs for viewers online so we get it if you're wondering what 15 minutes will get you. Well, keep in mind that this movie is just the intro to an entire zombie universe from the mind of Snyder (Read: it's a massive hunt for easter eggs). There are already several spin-offs in the works, including an anime with Jay Oliva (Trese, The Last Airbender), so you'd best believe this first 15 minutes better be damn good if they're investing this much in it.

An interactive livestream event is happening on Friday, May 14, at 1 a.m. on the Netflix YouTube channel, a full week before Army of the Dead drops globally. The platform promises "special appearances" by Zack Snyder, Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Ana De La Reguera, Matthias Schweighöfer, Nora Arnezeder, Tig Notaro and more. Plus, fans will have to "literally" dig around for access to the 15-minute sneak peek. If you get to unlock the vault, you'll have a 32-hour window to watch the epic beginning—the same amount of time they have to carry out the heist in the movie.

Army of the Dead is set years after a zombie infestation decimates Las Vegas, now walled off from the rest of the world. Scott Ward (Bautista) has gone from  zombie war hero to flipping burgers at some backend diner somewhere. When he is approached by shady billionaire Bly Tanaka (Hiroyuki Sanada) to retrieve tons of cash from a casino vault inside zombie Las Vegas, Ward organizes a ragtag team to do so before the U.S. government finally nukes the city to completely end the zombie plight.

So yup, the first 15 minutes has to go through the entire OG zombie war! Anyone else getting prime drinking-game vibes from this?
