(SPOT.ph) Mother-and-son Coney Reyes and Vico Sotto have such a special bond that their birthday greetings for one another often range from funny edited pictures or nostalgic throwback photos. For this year, the 30-something mayor of Pasig City greeted the veteran actress on Instagram with a clip of his mother dancing in her heydays. "Happy birthday, Mama!" with a kiss emoji, @vicosotto posted. Reyes celebrated her 66th birthday on Thursday, May 27.

The five-second video didn't come with music and was a bit grainy, but a deep-dive on YouTube led us to the clip's longer version showing Reyes lip-syncing Ella del Rosario's "Hahabol-Habol" (1979). Turns out it's from the local variety show Student Canteen, which aired on three different networks over a 32-year period from 1958 to 1990. Reyes co-hosted the show from 1975 to 1982 alongside Helen Vela, Pepe Pimentel, Bobby Ledesma, and Eddie Ilarde.

On Mother's Day, Sotto posted an adorable throwback photo of him and his mom. And for Reyes' birthday last year, he came up with a hilarious photo of his mother carrying a baby—with his grown-up face photoshopped on the infant's body.
