While there's no doubt that we all appreciate the ease and excitement of online shopping and fuss-free delivery, package arrivals can often interrupt our busy days at the worst times. If you're looking to make the process of receiving packages a little bit easier, we found a cool device that your whole household will thank you for: The Smart Video Doorbell from Digital Home lets you see who's at the door using just your phone!
This isn't your regular doorbell—it's a cool doorbell. The device is built with its own motion-activated camera that records HD 720P video with a 166-degree wide-angle lens. To use it, first install the Globe Suite App (available on the App Store and Google Play Store) on your phone, set it up, and pair it to the doorbell. Now, as soon as someone rings your doorbell, you can use your phone to check who might be at the door—the video being recorded at the front door will show on your smartphone. You can even talk to the person at the door through your phone as the doorbell has a microphone installed into it, too. That means you can figure out what the package is, who it's for, and if it requires cash on delivery without having to get up or drop whatever you're doing. Now you and your housemates won't have to be answering the door for each other every day.
As long as the Smart Doorbell is connected to your Wi-Fi network, you can always access the camera and microphone. That way, you can keep tabs on what's going on outside your home even when you're away.
The device also works as a motion detector. It sends notifications to your phone every time someone walks closely past your door. It even has night vision, so you can ensure that nothing weird is going on outside no matter the time of day.
