(SPOT.ph) There are lots of reasons to be proud of the Filipino chocolate scene—the Philippines is home to some truly great cacao, and there are a growing number of amazing local brands that craft up swoon-worthy chocolate bars. Some of these players have even gained recognition worldwide! Auro Chocolate is one such brand that has garnered international awards over the years—and they've got two new entries to add to that list, as they were awarded in the most recent editions of the Academy of Chocolate Special Awards and International Chocolate Awards World Finals!
Here are the new awards Auro Chocolate has been given:
From the Academy of Chocolate Special Awards 2020, Auro was given the Shining Bright Award—an award given to producers "who have demonstrated progression." The local company was also commended for scoring high across different categories, including that for drinking chocolate! Meanwhile, Auro also bagged the Silver Award for its 50% Regalo Single-Varietal Dark Milk Chocolate in the Plain or Origin Milk Chocolate Bars Category from the International Chocolate Awards World Finals of 2020 to 2021. It's all the more reason to celebrate—and what better way to do so than with a bar of their chocolate?
Auro Chocolate is a proudly Filipino company that was launched in 2015. They make bean-to-bar chocolate with cacao beans sourced directly from farming partners in Mindanao.
