Army Navy's Winning Burritos Just Got a Vegetarian-Friendly Twist

(SPOT.ph) When the craving for a big, fat, loaded burrito hits, Army Navy is one of the first spots you probably hit up. Their Steak Burrito placed tenth on our 2016 Top 10 Burritos in Manila list thanks to chunks of quality roasted meat and its affordable price point. If you're going the vegetarian route, you might think you'd have to give up their famous burritos—that's not the case anymore, though, because Army Navy now makes burritos that they're dubbing "plant-based"!

You can choose between the Plant-Based Burrito (P265) that's got "plant-based meat," Spanish rice, and crisp veggies rolled up in a flour tortilla, or the Plant-Based Breakfast Burrito (P255) with "plant-based meat," hash brown, and eggs in their flour tortilla. Not into rolled-up burritos? Go for the Plant-Based Naked Burrito (P265), which has the same fillings as the Plant-Based Burrito, but served in a bowl with fried tortilla crisps. If you've been thinking about going plant-based, though, you'd know that a plant-based diet consists mostly of plants and no animal products like egg or dairy, so this new line from Army Navy is suitable for vegetarians, but not vegans.

There's a "naked" version of the Plant-Based Burrito, too, that's served in a bowl.

Army Navy has also launched the Plant-Based Burger (P280), and if the default single patty isn't enough for you, you can go for the Plant-Based Double Burger (P395) or Plant-Based Bully Boy Burger (P495) with double and triple the patties, respectively. You can also sate your Tex-mex cravings with their Plant-Based Soft Taco (P245) and Plant-Based Quesadilla (P255).

Prefer buns over tortillas? Try their Plant-Based Burgers.

Army Navy is a burger and burrito concept established in 2009. Aside from these flagship dishes of theirs, we're also huge fans of their thin and crispy Freedom Fries, which placed third on our 2017 Top 10 Restaurant Fries in Manila list!
