Nostalgia Alert: Ang Pulubi at ang Prinsesa

Say it with us now: "Kung lahat ng nagmamahal sa 'yo tinataboy mo, hindi ka magiging masaya!" The young Prats dropped major life lessons in this take on the Prince and the Pauper tale—some that definitely had us reeling when we first watched it as kids. Still does, TBH.

The two unbeatable child stars took on the roles of Rosalie (Prats), a kind street kid, and the rich, spoiled brat Nikka (Panganiban). When Rosalie saves Nikka from mortal danger, she is adopted by the former's wealthy family in thanks—except that, well, Nikka still acts horribly towards Rosalie. Chaos ensues when the two kids from different worlds end up on the streets together, just trying to find somewhere they belong.

This movie came out two years after Prats and Panganiban starred in Sarah... Ang Munting Prinsesa, arguably the OG film that cemented their stellar acting skills. Both are high up on the list of movies that pretty much made our childhoods what they were! So mark your calendars and maybe even invite the younger folks you know to relive this masterpiece.
