(SPOT.ph) The Department of the Interior and Local Government emphasized on Wednesday, March 31 the ban on putting local officials' photos and names on relief aids during the week-long enhanced community quarantine in Metro Manila and nearby provinces. This is to address the possibility that ayuda might be used as mileage for the upcoming elections in 2022.

"Di natin maiiwasan iyan. Talagang magagamit iyan sa election. Given po iyan.

The public is encouraged to report such incidents to DILG. Their Public Assistance and Complaints Center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 8925-0343 or 8925-1144. Their mobile numbers are 0927-422-6300 and 0961-384-9272.
