(SPOT.ph) While you can't go wrong with a straight-up cup of joe, there's also something to be said about coffee-flavored desserts. They're a great way to change it up from the more typical vanilla or chocolate-flavored treats, and they give a more indulgent way to enjoy coffee's robust flavor. If you can have it with a mix of other textures—say, the light crispness of meringue and the crunch of nuts—all the better, in our book. Here's a new treat that gives you just that: Kumori recently come out with the new Mocha Torte, and it's a must-try if you love coffee!
The Mocha Torte has layers of cashew meringue and a choco-coffee and cream cheese buttercream frosting, plus toasted almonds and walnuts. Aside from giving you a mix of different mouthfeels, it'll draw you in with its rich coffee aroma—and there's no skimping on the frosting! A five-inch cake goes for P570, and you can get your fix at any Kumori branch or order it from their website.
