(SPOT.ph) Colorful attractions often draw crowds, especially the kind of crowd that loves posting stuff on their Instagram. Here in Metro Manila, the pics-or-it-didn't-happen generation has probably checked out The Dessert Museum and Lakbay Museo—both at S Maison—for colorful snaps to add to their feed. In Cebu City, you've got the Colour Museum Cebu—an indoor area at SM Seaside City Cebu that's bursting with colors.
First opened in August 2019 (and now reopened following temporary closure due to the pandemic in 2020), Colour Museum Cebu features colorful rooms that are designed to give you fun backdrops for your snaps. Pop-culture inspired posters decorate the front desk. There's a mock-up laundromat with walls splashed with a bright-pink hue, a yellow-and-white-themed ball pit with duck inflatables, and a mock-up salon with pastel colors. Other backdrops include a small room with blue and pink neon lights and a space with geometric shapes all around.
Rates start at P180 for adults and P100 for kids, students, and PWDs. Children three years old and below can enter for free.
Cebu City requires RT-PCR negative test results taken within three days, a travel itinerary, confirmed booking, and roundtrip ticket for inbound travelers. But Lapu-Lapu City, where the Mactan-Cebu International Airport is located, has already waived COVID-19 as part of their travel requirements.
Colour Museum Cebu is at 2/F Cube Wing, SM Seaside City Cebu, Cebu City, Cebu. For more information, follow Colour Museum on Facebook.
