(SPOT.ph) With Metro Manila's return to enhanced community quarantine status plus the rapid rise in COVID-19 cases in the past days, your best bet is to stay home as much as you can. You still need food and other essentials, though—and this is where online groceries come in, as they let you shop away without stepping out of the house. Thankfully, you’ve got tons of options today that are convenient as can be, being easily accessible for as long as you've got Internet.

COOP Grocer

COOP Grocer is an online grocery that you can access through their website or app—both have a minimalist interface that’s easy on the eyes. They have a great selection of eats and drinks—from fresh produce and meats, ready-to-eat meals to snacks, beverages (they carry Harlan + Holden bottled coffee), and even over-the-counter medicine.

GoRobinsons

GoRobinsons is a one-stop website with different online stores under its belt—including Robinsons Supermarket, The Marketplace, Shopwise, and even Korean grocery NoBrand! You can pay via debit card, credit card, or cash on delivery, and even earn Robinsons Rewards points along the way. You can access them from your browser or download the app version on your phone.

MetroMart

You can shop from a variety of stores—including Robinsons Supermarket, Landmark, S&R, The Marketplace, Shopwise, and even Farmers Market—via Metromart, which can be accessed through browser or by downloading their app. Payment options include credit card and cash on delivery.

GrabMart

GrabMart is Grab’s on-demand delivery service for groceries, essentials, and more—and you have a wide array of shops on the app to choose from. You can go for supermarkets like Anson Supermart or Robinsons Supermarket; fresh-produce stores like Zagana or Sariwa; convenience stores like FamilyMart or Shell Select; Korean groceries like Assi Fresh Plaza and Ceci; and more. Because it’s on-demand, you can get your orders just a few minutes within placing them, and you have the option to pay virtually through GrabPay, credit cardm, or via cash on delivery. Just click the “Mart” section on the Grab app to get started.

Foodpanda and PandaMart

Foodpanda not only delivers food from restaurants; they also have a “Shops” section on the website or app for third-party stores like 7-Eleven, Fresh Mart, and MerryMart Grocery, which is ideal if you also need groceries and essentials delivered. Under the same section, you can also check out Pandamart—the platform's own supermarket brand—where you can buy snacks, pantry essentials, cooking and baking needs, among others. It is open until 11 p.m.

Purego and Puregold Mobile

Puregold, together with 917 Ventures, has launched Purego—an online grocery platform with just about anything and everything you need: ingredients for cooking and baking, snacks, frozen goods, dairy, and more. Alternatively, Puregold also has their own app dubbed Puregold Mobile, which lets you order groceries with a few taps on your phone. There's a minimum purchase amount of P1,000 and they offer same-day delivery with a 3 p.m. cut-off. Payment options include credit cards, debit cards, and GCash. Delivery fees start at P150.

Waltermart Delivery

Waltermart is a go-to grocery for their affordable prices, and you can order online through Waltermart Delivery. They have pantry essentials, frozen food, pet care, and more; just note that there’s a minimum required purchase of P2,000 for delivery and a P99 flat-rate delivery fee. When you’re looking for specialty items that are hard to come by in Manila, chances are, Landers has it—and you can order from them for delivery via their website or app. Their extensive range of local and imported products includes fun breakfast cereals, snacks, pet products; canned, fresh, and ready-to-eat meats; fresh produce. and more. You can pay through credit card, Paymaya, Paynamics, or cash on delivery.

There’s no minimum order, though they deliver for free on orders above P3,500. You can pay via credit or debit card, Alipay, Wechat, and cash on delivery.

As the tagline goes, they’ve got it all for you at SM Markets—we’re talking fresh produce, fresh and frozen meat, ready-to-cook dishes, ready-to-eat meals, snacks, and so on—and they take orders through their website. You can choose the SM market (SM Supermarket, SM Hypermarket, and SM Savemore) nearest you—note that there’s a P150 flat-rate delivery fee with a five-kilometer limit from your chosen store.
