(SPOT.ph) No Ippudo meal is complete without an order of their pork buns. Each savory piece has a pillowy-soft bun and butter-soft chashu, plus Ippudo's signature sauce and Japanese mayonnaise, giving you the perfect balance of savory, sweet, and smoky in each bite! We'd hazard a guess, though, that one piece just is never enough—so we've got good news. You can now get two buns for the price of one with Ippudo's buy-one, get-one deal!
Here's how it works: You can get one free piece for every à la carte order of Ippudo's pork bun (P125)! This deal is valid for dine-in orders from Mondays to Fridays, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Pro tip: These meaty buns are best paired with any of Ippudo's signature ramen bowls—including the Shiromaru Motoaji (P390), which got the top spot in our 2016 Top 10 Ramen Places list.
Ippudo was established by Shigemi Kawahara in Hakata, Japan in 1985. They arrived in our shores in 2014, and won over the Filipino audience with their hearty and rich-tasting ramen bowls. On the other hand, Yabu is a tonkatsu restaurant that opened in 2011, helmed by Chef Kazuya Takeda of Tonkatsu Takeshin—a.k.a. one of the best tonkatsu restaurants in Tokyo.
Ippudo has branches at G/F Uptown Place Mall, 36th Street Corner 9th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City and 3/F Mega Fashion Hall, SM Megamall, Ortigas, Mandaluyong City. See a list of Ippudo branches. For more information, check out Ippudo Philippines' Facebook page.
