(SPOT.ph) Adidas' Stan Smiths are one of the most popular sneakers in the world. Even when the style is revamped into new colorways and designs, it remains instantly recognizable. If you love adding various Stan Smith styles to your sneaker rotation, you'll want to check out the Three Stripes' latest few updates to the classic tennis shoe, which take inspiration from some well-loved films: Adidas just released their Stan Smith sneakers in new designs inspired by Disney, Pixar, and Marvel characters!
Each of these cool pairs sports the Stan Smith's same ubiquitous silhouette, each style building off the OG design with details illustrations modeled after beloved characters from some of the biggest animated and comic book films in the last few decades. Some of the styles even come with their own custom shoe box!

Mike Wazowski, of Monsters, Inc. and Monsters University fame, is the star of this pair of Stan Smiths. You can see the green, one-eyed monster flashing different faces and expressions all over the sneaker. The shoe features a predominantly off-white shade while the sole sports a bright-green shade that matches Mike's body.
Rex the Dinosaur is a fan-favorite character from Pixar's Toy Story film series and this pair of Stan Smiths gets it look from his textured green design. The scale-patterned upper is complemented by a bright white heel, translucent sole, and ombré laces. Plus, take a closer look at the shoe's tongue and you'll see Rex printed onto the left sneaker while legendary tennis player Stan Smith maintains his usual spot on the right.
We love the sleek black exterior of this The Incredible Hulk-inspired Stan Smith. Green and purple accents—the character's signature colors—punctuate the black upper while the words "Hulk smash!" are inscribed on the outer side. Bruce Banner himself can be seen on the tongue looking green and furious. Plus, take a look under the shoe and you'll see the Hulk's fist punching through the sole.
If you prefer your sneakers to be predominantly plain white and understated, check out the Stan Smiths inspired by Pixar's warm-hearted cleaning robot Wall-E. You can see the character from the 2008 film printed all along the outer side of the shoe, looking as though he's rolling along the sole. His image can also be seen on the tongue in bright yellow. Plus, peep the inner side of the shoe and you'll spot his love interest Eve!
This pair, which takes inspiration from Guardians of the Galaxy's Groot, is the closest to the classic Stan Smith in the entire line thanks to the OG green-and-white colorway that it sports. You'll spot the character embossed onto the outer side of the shoe, close to the heel. His catchphrase "I am Groot" can be seen sitting along the style's perforated stripes. To top it all off, the sole sports a cork-like texture, giving the pair an earthy feel.
If classic Disney animation is more your thing, check out these sneakers inspired by everyone's favorite Neverland fair Tinkerbell from 1953's Peter Pan. The pair gets a playful twist with vibrant shades of green, blue, and yellow on the heel and laces as well as illustrations of Tink along the perforations and on the tongue.
These Adidas x Disney, Pixar, and Marvel Stan Smith sneakers will be available on Adidas' website starting April 4.
