One café in Banilad, Cebu lets you hit two birds with one stone: say hello to Sip Café, a totally aesthetic spot that's bound to be your next go-to hangout when you're in the area!
Sip Café describes themselves as Cebu's "first lifestyle café", where you can both shop and dine in just one spot. "Sip Café is an upscale version of our Sip Coffee and Tea [kiosk in Talamban], which mainly serves milk tea and coffee," they share in an exchange with SPOT.ph. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with their minimalist and relaxed interiors, with walls in soothing colors of cream and sand, wooden chairs and tables, and the occasional burst of color from foliage and neon lights. The shopping part of the equation comes in the form of clothing and accessories from Cebu-based brand Trifona, which you can browse and shop right within their premises while waiting for your orders.
As you can expect from their name, Sip Café's got an ample selection of beverages—from coffee to tea drinks to cocktails! But you'll definitely want to make room for their food, which takes inspiration from all over the world. "We take pride in making most of our dishes from scratch—from the pasta and pizza dough right down to the sauces and dips," they share. "We also ensure the quality of our foods by using only the freshest and finest ingredients." You can expect continental eats like the Butternut Ravioli (P235), Ai Funghi Pizza (P450), and the croissant-waffle hybrid known as the Croffle (P180); as well as Asian dishes like the Kim-Gogi-Bap! (P295) and Tom Yum (P150).
