LOOK: The IKEA Logo Is Finally Up on the Philippine Store

(SPOT.ph) IKEA's first-ever branch in the Philippines is set to open some time in the third or fourth quarter of 2021, according to their market development manager Georg Platzer in a media roundtable held in mid-February. That means we're only months away from finally shopping the Swedish retail giant's world-famous furniture finds, home decor, and food in Manila. Just like you, we are meticulously counting down the days until we can finally see the store (the largest in the world!) and explore its many contents.

Today, February 24, SM Mall of Asia shared photos on their official Facebook page showing how the construction is coming along. We're stoked to see that the unmistakable IKEA logo is finally installed onto the store front!

"The iconic IKEA logo is up," says SM Mall of Asia on their Facebook post, noting that the store continues to prepare for its grand opening in the Philippines. Though construction is still ongoing, the photos show that the bulding is already decked out in IKEA’s signature shade of blue paint, which can be seen in their outposts all over the world. Standing out against the vibrant cobalt facade is IKEA's all-caps logo in bright yellow. We can't wait to see the finished store!

Here's a look at how the store construction is coming along:
