Your S.O. Can Smash Their Frustrations Away With These Chocolate Piñata Cakes

PHOTO BY Tsokoñata ILLUSTRATION Warren Espejo

(SPOT.ph) Ever heard of chocolate piñata cakes or smash cakes? Like real piñatas, they've got an exterior that hides some sort of filling and they're meant to be opened by pounding or smashing away—only this time, that exterior is made with chocolate! (Which means you can eat it, and which makes it 10,000 times better, in our book.) Here's where you can get your fix locally: Tsokoñata makes chocolate piñata cakes for different occassions, and for the season of love, they're making the Valentine’s Day Tsokoñata Special—heart-shaped piñata cakes that your bae can smash to their heart's content!

It's just like a real piñata—except the exterior shell is made with chocolate!

The Valentine’s Day Tsokoñata Special (P1,350) comes in red, pink, purple, blue, and white colors. Its shell is made of chocolate and fondant, and you're meant to break it open with the provided wooden mallet by literally smashing and pounding on it! (Yup, now is the time to channel all your frustrations.) Inside, it's got approximately 600 to 700 grams of assorted chocolates and gummies; you can request for imported chocolates such as Snickers, Reese's, and the like for an additional fee (price upon request). Best of all, you can customize the message on the exterior to say "Happy Valentine's Day", "I love you", or whatever you please!

You can also get it in other colors, like purple...
