(SPOT.ph) Technological advancement is faster than ever before and each year brings about game-changing new gadget releases that aim to improve our daily lives and innovate the possibilities of what our devices can do. To start 2021 off with a bang, tech giant Samsung just unveiled their latest line of flagship devices: the Galaxy S21 smartphone series and the Galaxy Buds Pro are officially here!

Here's everything you need to know about the Samsung Galaxy S21 series and Galaxy Buds Pro:

Unlike the S20 line, the Samsung Galaxy S21 series includes three new smartphone models, namely the S21, the S21+, and S21 Ultra—all with 5G capability. As you might expect, the latest mobile devices in Samsung's line of flagship smartphones are built with more advanced processors—in particular, you get a 20% faster CPU, 35% faster GPU, and an AI processor that's twice as fast as the previous iteration in the S series.

Each phone features an all-new design with a contour-cut multi-camera system seamlessly positioned onto the device's slim metal frame. Though the all-screen displays of each model are of different sizes (6.2 inches for the S21, 6.7 inches for the S21+, and 6.8 inches for the S21 Ultra), the entire S21 series boasts an intelligent and dynamic AMOLED 2x adaptive 120Hz display that promises smoother scrolling and an ultra-sharp viewing experience. They also have an Eye Comfort Shield that automatically adjusts blue-light levels to reduce eye fatigue and strain.

Each model is available in a variety of sleek colors.

The quad-camera system promises richer color and sharper details compared to previous models in the series. Meanwhile, both the S21 and S21+ have three cameras each on the rear—a 64-megapixel wide lens, a 12-megapixel ultra wide lens, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. All three models also include a 10-megapixel front camera.

Plus, good news for those with shaky hands: The S21 cameras have a Zoom Lock feature to help stabilize your zoomed-in shot.

The S21 series' camera systems also have updated Night Mode with a faster Bright Night Sensor and enhanced noise reduction, allowing you to take crisp shots even in dark places. Portrait Mode is another cool camera feature that provides more depth in each shot with a DSLR-level bokeh effect.

The S21 series has state-of-the-art video capabilities.

The S21  and S21+ can capture videos at 8k resolution. The super-steady feature has also been improved for stable video footage even in shaky or choppy conditions. The S21 Ultra, on the other hand, has the same high-def resolution whila also being the first Samsung phone ever to have 4k filming across all lenses.

Some other cool video features include Live Thumbnails, which lets you shift and preview lenses while your camera is recording as well as Vlogger View, which can simultaneously capture videos from both the front and rear cameras, in case the user wants to record their reactions to the event or occasion they're shooting. The S21 Series' Director's View feature allows the video camera's cool capabilities to all work together and lets you customize your settings to capture moments exactly the way you want to.

Single Take, which was introduced in the S20 series, has also been updated with improved AI capabilities. It works to slow down and highlight moments with compelling action your footage. You can also use Highlight Reel to stitch together the best moments in a video clip, leaving you footage that's ready for sharing whether with friends or on social media—no editing required.

The S21 series' batteries promise all-day operation.

The S21 has a 4,000mAh battery capacity while the S21+ offers 4,800mAh and the S21 Ultra has 5,000mAh, all promising power-efficient battery life that adjusts to your daily usage habits and would easily last all day.

You can use it to draw sketches on your photos, precisely edit your videos, and so much more. Should your purchase an S21 Ultra, you can use it with an existing S Pen compatible with the Galaxy Tab S7 or get the new S Pen. The S21 Ultra case even has a handy compartment for the S Pen!

Samsung's new Galaxy Buds Pro sport a new, less protrusive look compared to their previous wireless earbuds for a fit and feel more natural to the ear. The device's improved sound quality (made possible by the 11mm woofer for low-frequency sounds and the 6.5mm tweeter for high-frequency sounds) promises detailed audio with a balanced treble and full bass. The earbuds give the user a cinematic, 360-degree audio experience that makes sound feel as though it is coming from different angles. It also has adjustable Acive Noise Cancellation that can block up to 99% of outside noise and automatically turns off when you start speaking.

Plus, with up to 18 hours of playtime on a single full charge, you'll be using the listening device all day. If you're in a rush, you can get up to an hour of use from just five minutes of charging.
