(SPOT.ph) Whenever the hankering for good ol' American comfort fare strikes and you happen to find yourself at Power Plant Mall, Elbert's Diner is one place that can usually deliver. You've likely refueled with their famous burgers or cheesesteak sandwiches while taking a shopping break. If it's one of your go-to stops, we've got sad news: Elbert's Diner is closing their doors, and their last day is on Sunday, January 31.
Elbert's Diner announced the closure in a Facebook post, where they bid a sad goodbye to the mall which has been "nothing but good" to them. "We hope to see you for one last time before we roll down our doors," they wrote. "Thank you for all your support throughout all these years. We are hopeful that we will be back some day. We are proud of our sandwiches and will do our best to find them a home again."

Can't drop by, or still find yourself craving their signatures after they close? The good news is, you can still get your fix throught their online delivery website. Some of the eats you can order are the Classic Cheesesteak Sandwich (P540), BLT Burger (P660), and Rib Eye Tapa (P620).
The eatery began as Elbert's Cheesesteak Shop in 2009 before relocating to Alabang in 2014 with the new moniker Elbert's Sandwiches. In 2018, they returned to Rockwell as Elbert's Sandwich Shop, which eventually evolved into Elbert's Diner.
