Pixar to Screen Soul at Selected Cinemas in the Philippines

(SPOT.ph) Since the release of the very first Toy Story in 1995, Pixar has become known around the world for making animated films that have the ability to make you laugh out loud while simultaneously causing an embarrassing bout of ugly crying. There’s the aforementioned Toy Story, and who could forget 2003’s Finding Nemo and 2009’s Up? For 2020, there’s Soul—the story of a middle-school music teacher named Joe Gardner whose dreams seem to have passed him by, until he gets a once-in-a-lifetime chance to do what he loves best. The catch: things aren’t always that simple.

Soul will stream in the U.S. on Disney+ starting on December 25, but since the streaming app isn't yet available in the Philippines, local audiences will be able to watch the movie on the same day with a limited theatrical release scheduled to start on December 25. That means Soul will be at selected cinemas in areas under Modified General Community Quarantine or MGCQ, including SM Bacoor, SM Clark, SM Sta. Rosa, and SM Masinag. See the full list:
